Johnny Cash (Bon Bravour x Flemmingh)
His mother Bukkie did not leave any doubts about her dressage ability in the mare test and already produced the KWPN-approved stallion Hermès (s.Easy Game), who stands out in the stallion competition and young horse competitions ridden by Dinja van Liere. The sire of Johnny Cash is the valuable Painted Black son Bon Bravour. He is not only reknown as sire of multiple talented offspring, he is also in training by Anky van Grunsven to make his Grand Prix debut himself.
Granddam Ukkie was invited as a three-year-old for the final of the National Mare Show and passed the mare test scoring several nines. Besides that, she is a full sister of the international dressage horses T.Movistar (Debbie Crooks) and Mr.Zeb (Ivanka Nuyten), who were competing on Small Tour and Intermediate II level. Out of this direct family also originate successful Small Tour dressage horses such as Webster (s.Rhodium), Aptrick (s.Tango) as well as Jean René Luijmes’ international Grand Prix and Nations Cup horse Aswin (s.Sandreo). With that, Johnny Cash comes from a solid performance damline and he has a desired dash of Trakehner genes in his pedigree.
In the second and third generation the Grand Prix horse suppliers Flemmingh and Jazz bring in their valuable genes. In the performance test Johnny Cash already excelled with his good attitude, workability and rideability; characteristics that prove to be more and more decisive for a good dressage horse.
