Payment of the stud fee at the first insemination entitles the mare owner to unlimited attempts to achieve one pregnancy in that year. If no pregnancy is achieved before the end of the breeding season of that year, the stud fee less €50 + VAT booking fee will be refunded upon receipt of veterinary certification on or before October 1^st of the same year. If a confirmed pregnancy does not result in a live foal at 48 hours, the stud fee less the €50 + VAT booking fee will remain in credit with Euro Stallions following veterinary certification.

Straws Sold Outright, Without Terms

These frozen semen straws are purchased outright with no guarantee of pregnancy. There is no refund nor credit in the event of no pregnancy achieved. If a straw is sold individually, there will be one covering certificate allowable per straw. If a dose is sold, there will be one covering certificate allowable per dose. If a dose or straw is split and more than one pregnancy is achieved. If you are using this frozen semen for ICSI, please contact us for full ICSI T&Cs.

A talented jumper can also be wonderful to ride! Dexter R showed impressive talent as a show jumper in the KWPN performance test (8.5 for reflexes, 8 for form, 9 for scope, 8.5 for talent) and earned high scores for rideability (8.5 for the canter and 8.5 for rideability and willingness). At the 2011 KWPN Stallion Show, this “jumping machine” was declared the Reserve Champion. He was subsequently the Champion of his performance test.

His huge scope, fantastic rideability and excellent conformation make Dexter R a very complete stallion who can improve jumper breeding across the board. With his stature and good front end, Dexter R is especially suited for improving the conformation of jumper mares. In 2012, his first filly Hamira (ds. Mermus R) finished as Reserve Champion at the Central Keuring in Overijssel.

Dexter R is a son of the preferent stallion Namelus R. Dexter R’s grandsire Contender, a foundation stallion in Holstein, produced numerous successful show jumpers and approved stallions. A full sister to Dexter R, the elite mare B. Rubertha 11, earned the second highest score in the 2011 mare test: 88 points. Under the name Beau Rubertha R, she is already excelling in international young horse classes under Wim SchrÃ¶der.

Dexter R’s granddam H.Ruberth 14 prestatie is a full sister of the world-renowned grand prix stallion VIP (Joost x Abgar xx). She produced four jumpers which competed at the national and international levels. Her dam Rubertha ster prestatie, who is the dam of VIP, also produced Z- and ZZ-level show jumpers. Dexter R’s pedigree combines the Rubertha-line of international jumpers such as Rubert R, Balaboeska R, and Royal Beach Cupido with another top line from the Roelofs philosophy; and Dexter R’s sire Namelus R contributes the exceptional genes of the Melusienas (breeding family 154).

Dexter R has now also sired a KWPN Stallion Show Reserve Champion in I.Wellie (Dexter R x Mermus R), pictured below. A phenomenal sire in the making, Dexter R is a real investment in your breeding programme.
