Adzaro de L’Abbaye has all the characteristics of a modern-day top sire and is striking with his athletic elegance and dark coat. He’s a most charming stallion and remarkable in many ways: with his character, technique and jumping ability he makes a real impression. Adzaro de L’Abbaye was the 2013 winner at the French stallion licensing in St. Lo. In 2014 he was the Normandy champion of 4-year-olds and a finalist in Fontainebleau. In 2015 he qualified for the young stallion championships in Fontainebleau with a total of 13 victories. He was 2017 winner internationally in competitions up to 1.35 m. He presented his first foal season in Germany in 2017, among them several premium foals. In 2017, a full brother of Adzaro de L’Abbaye was also licensed in France.
Sire Quaprice BoiMargot (by Quidam de Revel-Lord-Liguster-Farnese-Cottage Son xx, Holst. line 504) was French champion aged six and seven, and later turned many heads at the Global Tour in Arezzo, La Baule and Lors. Despite his premature death, Quaprice BoiMargot produced several approved stallions, among them winners of the French stallion licensing in 2008, 2009, and, with Adzaro de L’Abbaye, in 2013.
Damsire Diamant de Semilly, with rider Eric Levallois, won the gold medal with the French team at the WEG in Jerez in 2002 and was silver medallist at the 2003 European Championships. In 2015 and 2016 he was ranked first in the WBFSH sire rankings for show jumpers; he currently ranks second worldwide.
And quality prevails: although Diamant de Semilly never stood at stud in Germany, he has produced three German licensing winners already: Diarado (2007 Holstein), Dicapo (2011 OS) and Diamant de Quidam (2015 OS). 2017 was also the foolbrother aprooved in France. This damline has also produced a number of internationally successful sport horses.
